Recently, Google expanded the capabilities of its Gemini 2.0 Flash model, enabling advanced image generation and editing.

This feature, praised for its impressive performance, appears to operate with minimal restrictions.

Beyond generating images of celebrities and copyrighted characters without resistance, it can also remove watermarks from existing photos.

According to reports from X (formerly Twitter) and Reddit users, Gemini 2.0 Flash doesn’t merely erase watermarks — it goes a step further by reconstructing the obscured sections of the image.

While other AI tools offer similar functions, Gemini 2.0 Flash stands out for its precision and its free availability.

It’s important to note that Google currently labels this image generation feature as “experimental” and “not for production use.” It’s accessible only through developer tools like AI Studio.

However, the model isn’t flawless. It struggles with semi-transparent watermarks and those that cover large portions of an image.
