Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced an increase in the prices of PlayStation Plus subscription plans in Brazil. The updated pricing affects all three subscription tiers: Essential, Extra, and Deluxe.
PlayStation Plus Prices For New Users in Brazil
Starting April 16, 2025, the new pricing for PlayStation Plus in Brazil for new users will be as follows:

- Monthly: R$ 43.90
- Quarterly: R$ 114.90
- Annual: R$ 359.90
Extra Plan
- Monthly: R$ 65.90
- Quarterly: R$ 186.90
- Annual: R$ 592.90
Deluxe Plan
- Monthly: R$ 76.90
- Quarterly: R$ 219.90
- Annual: R$ 691.90

Reason for the Price Adjustment
Sony stated that the price adjustment reflects market conditions and the company’s commitment to providing high-quality gaming experiences through PlayStation Plus. This update follows previous price changes implemented in other regions in late 2023 and early 2024.
Existing Subscribers
For current PlayStation Plus subscribers in Brazil:
- PlayStation Plus price increases, if any, will only affect your subscription if your next renewal date falls on or after May 1, 2025. If your subscription renews before May 1, 2025, you’ll be charged the current price.
- Users can renew, upgrade, or extend their subscription under the current rates before the new pricing takes effect.
Global Trend of Price Adjustments
Brazil joins a list of other countries where PlayStation Plus pricing has been revised. This change is part of Sony’s broader strategy to align subscription costs with the value delivered through monthly game catalogs, cloud streaming (in select regions), and classic game offerings under the Deluxe plan.
